Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Soul Archive at thesoularchive.com uses information when you take the free assessment, save a reading, use the full-reading portal, or choose to receive promotional emails.

Information you provide

The free journey saves your six assessment answers, first name, email address, marketing-consent choice and its audit history, selected door, symbolic profile, generated reading, reading position, and completion progress. Campaign and affiliate attribution from your visit may also be saved. We use this information to provide the experience, remember your progress, and support recovery of your reading.

The standalone full-reading portal saves your questionnaire answers, preferred reading name, symbolic profile, outline, seven chapters, and reading progress. Optional answers can include birth details, relationship themes, personal challenges, and a personal question. Share only what you are comfortable providing. Avoid sensitive identifiers, medical records, and identifying information about other people.

AI-generated readings

The free reading uses a deterministic scoring and narrative system. The full-reading portal sends questionnaire-derived profile information and manuscript context to an AI writing service through Netlify AI Gateway, using Google's Gemini model, to generate and review symbolic content. Information included in that context, including your reading name and optional written answers, is processed for this purpose. The reading is imaginative self-reflection, not a factual assessment of your history, health, or future.

Cookies, security, and service providers

Essential secure session cookies connect your browser to saved records in Netlify Database. The free journey cookie lasts up to 90 days. Private recovery links expire after 30 days; anyone with a valid recovery link may be able to restore that story, so keep it private. The full-reading session cookie lasts up to 30 days. Blocking or deleting cookies may prevent access to saved progress.

Netlify provides hosting, database storage, and server processing. The premium service uses hashed IP-based usage counters to limit abuse and manage generation allowances. Hosting and processing providers may also process technical request information needed to operate and secure their services. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's font servers.

Optional marketing

Marketing consent is separate from reading access and is not required to receive the free reading. If you select the optional checkbox, we send your name and email to the official Soul Archive MailerLite form. MailerLite manages confirmation, subscriber settings, and unsubscribe requests. Quiz answers and reading profiles are not sent to MailerLite or advertising platforms by this integration. You can unsubscribe using the link in promotional emails. The full-reading portal does not require email signup or add you to marketing lists.

Payments

ClickBank is the retailer and processes checkout on its own site under its privacy practices. This reading application does not collect payment-card details or require payment verification to access the public full-reading portal. For transaction records or payment information held by ClickBank, use ClickBank customer support.

Retention and deletion

Full-reading archives expire 30 days after creation and are removed by scheduled cleanup; expired archives are also cleaned up when new sessions are created. The portal's “Clear my archive / Start a new reading” control deletes the current archive and clears its session cookie. Downloaded PDFs remain on your device until you delete them. Premium usage counters have separate, short expiration periods.

The free journey's cookie and recovery-link expiration limit access; they do not automatically delete its database records. Free-journey records and consent history are retained to support the saved experience and document marketing choices. Unsubscribing from marketing does not automatically erase your saved reading or consent history.

Your choices and requests

You can skip optional questionnaire details, decline promotional emails, unsubscribe, and clear your premium archive. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to object to or restrict certain processing. Customers can use the seller contact option associated with their ClickBank receipt or order to raise a request with The Soul Archive; see Contact. ClickBank handles requests about its own transaction data separately. Never send card details, passwords, or private recovery links in a support message.

Policy updates

Updates are published on this page with a revised effective date. This policy describes The Soul Archive experience; third-party sites and services have their own privacy policies.
